This Sophomore writing course will focus on developing students' skills in writing essays. This semester, it will introduce comparison and contrast, as well as cause and effect essays. Throughout the course, students will practice each of these writing genres through completing several assignments. to enhanced students' practice of writing, they will also lead discussions on readings, compile a writing process portfolio, and participate in writing conference.
